In 1979 the Adverts faced a big problem. Punk went out of Focus. No Media or Press cared about. The Punks feeled robbed because all their Idols got big Contracts on Major Labels. The "Rebellion" got ate by the Music Industry. The Adverts tried to avoid to with a radical changing of their Music.
Keyboards were added by Tim Cross. But that could not rescue the Band. It got more and more difficult to get Gigs. And the recordings for the "Cast of Thousands" got delayed, and because of no money in cheaper and cheapest Studios in the middle of the Night. In August 1979 the Band split up with 2 Howard Pickup and Rod Latter, left them without a Drummer and without a Guitar Player. John Towe joined the Band for Month, but then leaved again. That made the Promotion of the new Album nearly Impossible.Paul and Rick Martinez joined the Band on Guitar and Drums. But in the End the Band was gone
