With the release of the Album "Crossing the Red Sea with the Adverts" the Band was on their peak. But the first problems came in. Drummer Laurie Driver got fired. So the Februar till April Gigs where played by John Towe, who came back to the Band in 1979. Then Rod Latter take the place on the Drums. The Band played less Gigs then 1977. But even some outside of the UK. A Tour in the US was planned but never happend.
