1981 - Walk Away from the Explorers

The Album release was in June, a "limited Edition" came with a 7" Bonus. Even the "limited Edition" was not sold out. The Album did not made it into the Charts. Also the Single "Have Fun" didn't got any attention. The Record company got the Explorers into Supportslots for "The Undertones" and again "Iggy Pop". It should have been a whole Support Tour for the Untertones. But after 2 Gigs the Undertones did not wanted the Explorers do continue. So they got out of the Tour. They had to get a few "last Minute" Gigs to compensate the "Untertones" support tour.

The Album was Set for a release in the US, including an US Tour but Epic lost their interest pretty fast. So there was no US Tour, not much Gigs, but a German tour incoming. Well the Album wasnt released in Germany, and no one knowed that Band...
