1979 - I Will Walk You Home
With an Album yet to be released, a Single "Cast of Thousands" with complete no advertising, the interest in The Adverts was around Zero. Rick Martinez, the little Brother of Paul Martinez joined the Band. To make it possible to play the last Gigs, also to force RCA to release the Album and fill their Contract. After October there was no Band left to go on.
And well no one wanted to buy the"Cast of Thousands" Single also.
2 Songs (Cut Up, and Beat up your Boyfriend) never got recorded with the Band. Gaye Advert never played in Bands again. Tim Cross went back to other Projects, the Martinez Brothers went back to their Jobs as Session Musicans for other Bands. Howard Pickup died in July 1997.
